Digger placement in a confined courtyard
Where there’s a will, there’s a way.
- 100t crane deployed
- 0° slewing during the lift
- Full CAD modelling before mobilisation
Access was blocked on all sides by existing structures. Before the crane could be brought in, structural alterations were required to open up a working position.
Once on site, uneven ground meant setting up on variable outrigger configurations with timber packing to achieve a safe, level base.
With no slewing capability during the lift, the crane had to be in exactly the right position before the load was picked. There was no room to adjust once we were underway. Every element was planned and modelled in CAD in advance, confirming the lift was feasible before a single piece of equipment arrived on site.
Another happy customer and a safe lift in conditions that most wouldn’t attempt.
