Removing a 30 tonne radiator from a boiler house is not a straightforward extraction. Size, weight and geometry all had to be carefully managed, which meant one crane was never going to be enough.
We deployed a 220 tonne crane to lift the unit clear, while a 100 tonne crane top and tailed the load to maintain control and rotate it safely into transport position. Close coordination between operators throughout kept everything moving precisely as planned.
