In the fight against the Covid-19 virus, Terranova Cranes has been helping the Wrightington Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust in the rapid construction of an emergency ward at the Wigan Infirmary.
One of our large cranes, a Terex Demag AC-140, was used at the hospital site on Thursday afternoon to lift prefabricated components from HGV lorries for the new 52-bed facility. The Wrightington Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust managers hope the new emergency ward will be up and running by the end of the month. Please #stayhomesavelives.
