The largest City Class crane available in the UK, the Demag AC70 was used to assist in the installation of a 5G mast in Southampton. The compact size and long boom of this heavy duty city class crane meant the tall 5G mast could be successfully installed as one completed unit.

5G Networks will currently give the UK up to 10 Gbps data rates (1’000 times quicker than first generation 4G/LTE) and allow up to 100 times more devices per unit area when compared to 4G/LTE.  5G technology is a real breakthrough and will help make Britain ready for the Internet of Things future.  We are excited to do our bit!
