AC40 with runner in tight spaces

This is a great example of what City Class cranes are designed for, accessing and working in tight spaces. Our Demag AC40 was used in Byfleet, Surrey to fit a gantry crane into a customer’s warehouse. Using our specially design runner attached to the end of the AC40’s telescopic boom allows us to gain additional lift height into the ceiling of the warehouse.

As the photos show, using a combination of driver skill and manoeuvrability of the AC40, we were able to complete the job without need for the customer to empty their warehouse first.
